“Turning Blue” is one of the rawest songs I’ve ever written. It’s about that deep, sinking feeling you get after leaving an abusive relationship—when everything hits you at once. The heartbreak, the confusion, the isolation. It’s like you finally got out, but somehow you still feel like the one who’s drowning. The worst part? Everyone around you has already picked a side, and it’s not yours. You’re left defending someone who hurt you, because that pain still feels familiar. This song captures that moment when you’re emotionally frozen, numb, exhausted, but still trying to make sense of it all. This song is the only way I've gotten to express my injustice, I hope it resonates.
